We appraise Oriental rugs for insurance as well as other valuation purposes. Appraising rugs is a highly specialized field and can only be carried out by an experienced professional. While evaluating a rug, one needs to consider factors such as artistry and origin, as well as size and knot density. At Josef Oriental Rugs, our founder Naiem Khoshdel has three decades of experience appraising Oriental rugs and can fulfill your rug appraisal needs.
Naiem is a Member of ORRA (Oriental Rug Retailers of America), a professional organization of rug experts and appraisers formed in 1969 to help bring high standards and ethical practices to the field of fine hand knotted and woven Oriental rugs.
